ZAÏ ZAÏ, a crazy, noisy, musicalized photo-novel. It's good to laugh! That's the motto of Zaï Zaï, Collectif Mensuel's adaptation of Fabcaro's comic strip. How do you translate a comic strip with one gag per page onto the stage? The answer is a photo-novel, in which the text bubbles are interpreted by the actors, who also provide sound effects and live music. Zaï Zaï is the Théâtre de Poche's back-to-school show? as in potache. And we need it.

Zaï Zaï is the story of Nicolas, who can?t find his loyalty card when paying for his groceries at the supermarket checkout. Caught by the security guard, he flees armed with a leek. Hunted by the police and the media, he becomes public enemy n°1. And so begins an absurd road-movie.

The media, the police and the town?s philosophers are all talking about it, and each scene helps to move this delirious soap opera forward, revealing the dangers of our information society: information overload, disinformation? A man without a loyalty card: an oversight or a political act, civil disobedience, an enemy of the Republic.

Garderie culturelle: It?s not always easy for parents to come to a show with peace of mind. Entrust your children (aged 4 to 12) from 8pm to 10pm, to qualified entertainers. They'll be welcomed in the Tutti room, where they'll enjoy activities linked to the theme of the show (creative activities, readings, short films, etc.)
