Dance - From age 6 Voyage au bout de l?ennui (Journey to the end of boredom) is conceived as an invitation to embark on a journey to a land of imagination and reverie, not unrelated to childhood.

The choreographer talks about boredom with a group of six dancers, even though in our collective unconscious, boredom is more akin to a solitary state. For a dancer, embarking on a voyage of boredom might seem unnatural, since dancing is fundamentally about taking action! This raises a host of questions: beneath the apparent immobility, what movement might there be?

What real movement does boredom produce? What is a body of non-action, of non-want? Is it possible to be bored alone in a crowd? Can boredom be a collective impulse rather than a statement of fact?
