Description

Concert - All audiences An unmissable re-reading, at the crossroads of baroque, rock and electro Qui-vive ! is an unexpected and obstinate musical experience. Cie Rassegna appropriates the 17th-century repertoire, moving pieces from the field of early music into its deliberately unheard-of universe. The electric guitar accompanies the viola da gamba, an artistic virtuoso scratches out a courtly air, a modern fado meets the lamento, a repertoire full of anachronistic flexibility and strange mixtures that highlight the thickness and grain of the musical material. Qui-vive ! is an interplay of sound mirrors, inviting you to listen in a circular, almost haunting way, spiraling into the depths of magnificent melodies. It's a reflection on time, its acceleration, the way it comes and goes in turbulent times, highlighting the capacity of repertoires to remain in motion. On stage, Bruno Allary has surrounded himself with an eclectic and adventurous ensemble, forming an all-female quartet open to a variety of musical approaches and cross-fertilizations. This virtuoso crew includes Nolwenn Le Guern, familiar with medieval music, L.Atipik, French Deejaying champion, Clémence Niclas, a specialist in early music, and Mélissa Zantman, well-versed in traditional polyphony.
