Jeanne, a young woman in the 21st century, is presenting her thesis on Jean de La Fontaine. Hyper-emotional, she faints on the day of her exam. That's the day Jean de La Fontaine chooses to meet her, as he too has a problem: he's forgotten all his fables. Together, they set out to find them. The play is an opportunity to listen to some of the fables again, but also to draw parallels between the 17th and 21st centuries. Jeanne and Jean don't have the same codes or references, so they sometimes find it hard to understand each other, which makes for some funny situations.
