Hiking loop starting from Bernières-sur-Mer. This loop runs from the seafront to the plain, highlighting the memorial heritage of the Second World War (traces and vestiges of the German occupation, emblematic Bernières houses, commemorative plaques and monuments celebrating the liberation).

Practical information: You can come by bus from Caen or Courseulles-sur-Mer on line 101 and get off at the "Plage" stop for this hike. Picnic area by the sea at the end of the route. Public toilets near the starting point. Unmarked route, please download topofiche or GPX route.
