This luminous 26 m² room, located on the second floor of a charming house, captivates with its elegant and modern decoration in black and white. It offers a peaceful view over the garden and the city, creating a soothing and refined atmosphere. The large double bed (160 x 200 cm) ensures optimum comfort, while the bathroom, with its workshop-style glass roof, combines charm and modernity with its free-standing bath, walk-in shower, antique washbasin, heated towel rail and separate WC.

For your comfort, the room is equipped with free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities. A cot can also be provided on request.

Ideal for a relaxing stay, this soundproofed room is a haven of peace. However, as it is located on the second floor without a lift, it is not suitable for guests with reduced mobility. This unique location offers a comfortable and serene experience in the heart of Courseulles-sur-Mer.

La Cantellerie : 

A magnificent manor house built in 1868 in the most beautiful street in Courseulles-sur-Mer, La Cantellerie offers the charm of an old family home and the calm of its garden in the heart of the town.This garden is where so many birds come to rest and feed, to which La Cantellerie owes its name: ‘the song of the birds’.

Shops, restaurants, the beach and the port are just a few minutes' walk away. The house is ideally situated for a relaxing stay, but also for cultural activities: the Juno Beach Centre, dedicated to our dear Canadian friends who came (all volunteers!!) to liberate France, is within walking distance, and the American and English beaches are just a few kilometres away. Bayeux and its tapestry are also a 20-minute drive away. And why not take a day trip to Mont Saint Michel?

Completely and recently renovated, the house has 5 bedrooms, including 2 family suites and 1 bedroom for 3 people, all with en-suite bathrooms and WCs. At the entrance to the property, our little gîte lives up to its name: ‘Le Nid’, a real cocoon for lovers of peace and independence!

On the ground floor of the main building, the communal areas await you: a large dining room for breakfasts and dinners, lounges, etc. We want our house to be yours for the duration of your stay. In the garden, armchairs and deckchairs await you in summer after a busy day for a pleasant moment of relaxation.

We pay particular attention to our breakfasts, and our guests appreciate this special moment: yoghurt, fruit salad, granola, jam, fresh fruit juice, etc. Everything is homemade. The bread is also homemade on certain days.And for those with a sweet tooth, we can offer an organic fried egg on request, perhaps accompanied by ham or cheese.Homemade rice pudding and homemade egg cream sometimes complete the long list.We serve breakfast in the large dining room where all our guests gather.

By prior arrangement, La Cantellerie also offers table d'hôtes, with fresh, honest cuisine based on regional produce, family-style but sometimes more daring: fresh fish, scallops in season, local cheeses, homemade desserts, etc. Cooking is our second passion.

In summer, our guests have access to our cabin so they can enjoy the beach more easily and change clothes. We even sometimes serve dinners or simple platters of oysters or seafood to admire the sunset while sipping a glass of chilled white wine.

La Cantellerie welcomes you all year round, and we look forward to welcoming you to our home.
