From January 11 to February 2, 2025, La Halle de Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer hosts the Janvier Musiq?Halle cultural event, combining photographic exhibitions and eclectic concerts. A unique immersion in the world of Afro-American music and much more!
The Black (and White) Music exhibition, curated by Frédéric Ragot, a passionate photographer and sports journalist, showcases Afro-American music through black-and-white photographs. Capturing the essence of jazz, R?n?B, soul and hip-hop artists.
The musical program accompanies the exhibition with a variety of concerts. On January 11, the Summertime Jazz Gang kicks off the festivities with their festive New Orleans jazz, in aid of the Solidarités Migrants association. On January 18, the Sonata Flamenca trio combines flamenco, baroque and modernity for a vibrant evening. On January 19, a show for young audiences, Opéramuse?Bouche, transports children into the world of opera.
Auditions for students from the local music school are scheduled for January 24 and 30, before a captivating concert by Lox?One on January 25, with influences ranging from reggae to trip-hop.
The event comes to a close on February 1 with the closing evening, featuring Impressions and K Project, mixing music, theater and performance.
