Surfcasting, which means “fishing in the wave”, is a seaside fishing technique practiced from the beach. It consists of casting your line as far as possible to catch some nice catches such as whiting, mullet, sole or dab.
The regulations concerning surfcasting can be found in each town hall. In general, it is forbidden to surfcast during the summer months on the beach surveillance zone and in the channel.

All about river fishing
The river Seulles offers an ideal playground for any fisherman, experienced or not. The Deux Vallées fishing course is located between Amblie and Banville. You can fish for pike, pike-perch, perch, fario trout and also sea trout.
